My friends and I got to see the 2nd Annual Pyro Musical Competition at Mall of Asia last March 12, 2011. Australia and Philippines performed and showed their eye-pleasing firework display that night. At the Gold Section or even at other sections, the number of people who attended the event was startling and we can hardly move inside the venue, we were just lucky to find our nook which we immediately occupied. After long hours of waiting, we finally settled down and set Fred’s tripod to be able to capture superb pictures.
Australia was undeniably good and I thought that their performance, though not too impeccable, was astounding enough to make any viewers “Ohhhhing” and “Ahhhing” with awe. Philippines, no matter how objective I am, literally made my head nod for approval. I liked it more because first, they used diversion. The element of surprise was excellent. One moment, the fireworks were at the bay then the next thing you know, they are already zooming at your back. Confusing though it was, but the trick worked for me.Second, they played familiar songs and I reckon it’s more enticing because you listen and the same time you watch.If you do not know what is being played, you tend to focus more on what you see. It should be both since the theme of the event is Fireworks with Music. Firework (Katy Perry) and Love the Way You Lie Part 2 (Rihanna) were deary! Third, we have to admit that our Smileys are more beautiful than Australia, isn’t?           After MOA, we hopped to BlueWave to greet our dear friend (who works there) for her birthday. We waited until midnight to converse with her and to say our greetings personally but alas, she was downright busy because of the ascending number of customers who fills in the place. Most of the Food stores were already closed so our last resort was (drum roll..) Jollibee! We brought and ate it at Sucks because the former’s table (customers) were all unavailable. Pew!     My customized “Pure Milk” drink. Not all my cups (in Sucks) get to be written by my whole name in it. LOL  Oh, can I just say that Honey Glazed Doughnut with Whipped Cream and Caramel Drizzle on top was heaven? A good substitute for waffle. I got the toppings for free though.     At the end of all these, I just want to flaunt my newly discovered talent. (Oh, this isn’t even a talent! For God’s sake.) LIGHT PAINTING. I had to try it since I was armed with flashlight and a good camera during that time. I guess the result was not too bad, eh?  My Chummy Sheer’s work.  In the matter of SMILEYS, I am Philippines. My chummy’s Australia. LOL
