As I was sipping my intense coffee, this 80 years old woman just made me cry... reminding me that in life, it's never too late to try to achieve something.
Mrs. Janey Cutler, a Blackburn-based mother of seven children, grandmother of 13 kids and a great-grandmother of 4 kids is 80 years old and she's is enough to be Susan Boyle's mommy. Despite her age, she didn't let stop her from pursuing her long-deferred dream of singing stardom. She tried out in Boyle's original audition city of Glassgow and it certainly didn't stop Britain and the world from falling in love with her. Old Mrs. Janey sang Edith Piaf's "No Regrets" with a flawless massive voice. She said on the show, "I like singing, my friends say go in for it... better late than never!" and "I've had a great life, seven kids, hard times, happy times...no regrets." When asked about her being an international star, she humbly said she would rather be judged on her own merits. As for people comparing her to Susan Boyle, she said, "It's flattering to be compared to Susan, but I don't take any notice of that, really.". She added,"I'd like to be successful in my own way. If not, I am just going to enjoy myself. I love singing. I'm glad I'm getting to experience the good life and have some fun." Inspiring, isn't it??? ![]() I Mrs. Janey Cutler!!! Kudos to the new woman who inspires me right now!!!
