I didn’t know that blogging would be this beneficial on my end, often I just blog to let my feelings out and/or just to gab about irrelevant things, nothing in particular. But once I found this site and it made blogging more appealing. It gives prizes to the most rated blogger per month. My team, of course didn’t let this opportunity pass our asses. We make sure that every month, we win.

Also, one of the perks of being here is that we get to be acknowledged by the moderators. Personally, this post (under) made my head bob with delight. I’m so happy that my posts are being appreciated, no matter how shallow they may sometimes be.

One of the contests that me and my team took seriously was the “Incoming President Blogging Contest” because of the HP Laptop Prize waiting for the first placer. Our strategy was to recruit people as many as possible and ask them to vote for our entry. We’ve decided to chip in into a single entry to make sure that we nail the first spot. It was 2 months of being groggy i.e. sleepless nights, non stop begging, chatting and even posting statuses just to acquire a single vote but it was all worth it because our efforts paid-off no matter how tight and close the race between our team and our greatest nemesis, Jervies’ Team.

We were able to accumulate 400+ votes which placed us on the first spot.

After announcing the winners, we were invited to go to Capones Bar in Makati to claim our new baby. The bar was a chic-cozy nook best for people who wants to spend extra time with friends. Mojofly was already performing when we arrived and after some chit-chats and gibbering with Jodge (Moderator), she then introduced Jacob and handed him his win.

The most famous dog in town-DORA! She has a very fragrant smell, she’s wearing a Paris Hilton clothing and she’s the only dog allowed to goof around the bar.

This is Jervies Baldemoro and his team was our greatest contender during that time. It’s a good thing that we didn’t become aloof during the awarding and we even found time to talk with each other.
